Mt Bundy Getaways

MOUNT BUNDY STATION GETAWAY
One of the most productive places for scrapbooking can be a retreat weekend. Getting away with other scrapbookers to a place where someone else does the cooking, no housework and generally do what ever you want.
Mt Bundy is located approx 110km south of Darwin, is just passed the Adelaide river roadhouses. Please contact me if you need more details of where the station is situated. Mt Bundy used to be a working cattle station, which has now been turned into the most amazing (on the side of old and rustic) bush retreat. You can’t beat the pure bush feel and peaceful aura of the place.Accommodation The house we rent is fully air-conditioned with 7 bedrooms and 1 room dorm style with 3 bunks in it and 2 bathrooms. The facilities can accommodate up to 20 people. All beds are made and waiting for you, complete with fresh linens and blankets. Towels are supplied, but you will need one of your own if going swimming. The cropping room is a separate air-conditioned building that we can spread out and have the best weekend ever. Most tables are set with two people on it except the huge(I mean huge) middle table that fits 6.There are prizes during the day, including a great prize for the winner of our famous snakes and ladder game. Need to make your own way there any time from 4pm Friday night and leave anytime you like. Need to leave by 5pm Sunday.
When: May 30th , 31st and 1st of June Cost: $140-00
Includes:
2 nights accommodation (Friday and Saturday)
48 hours of cropping time
All meals provided self serve breakfast and roster for other meals.
Snacks throughout the weekend
Horse rides can be tailored to the riders ability and we can always chase a few cattle around if they get bored easy .
Adults are $ 50 for an hour or $75 for a longer ride up to 2 hours .
Horses are all ex stock horses .Scenery and widlife is great . Can do a wine tasting at sunset too for $75 ea Max tour 4 riders.
Wallaby tours are a night tour of the mt bundy property via a ute and spotlight . we often see buffallo ,millions of wallabies, birds and crocs . Good fun All this for 1/2 hour and $10

internet available if broadband works to get some extra ideas.

Scrapbook Store on-hand for basic supplies needed (Bazzill and cardstock, specialty papers, adhesives, basic embellishments etc)
Cropping RoomAround the clock cropping space available to you in our large cropping room. When you arrive at Mt Bundy on Friday, set up at your allocated station, and you don’t have to pack up until you go home on Sunday! You will be able to come and go as you please to eat the great food, take a nap or a nature walk - whatever you choose!! Are you one of those late night croppers? Don’t worry, the cropping room will be open all weekend and you don’t have to worry about your supplies while you sleep. There is a Tool Centre and miscellaneous bits and pieces that you can use as you wish!!

Stock Update

HI all hope you are having a good week, I have just had a Kaiser delivery lots of flowers bling and papers, as well as some acrylic stamps and rub ons. Early next week we should receive the new Daisy D and Bo Bunny papers they are lovely.

Tonight is a Scrap night to midnight a couple of places left if you are interested. Monday night is Jo Carey first class here at Stamp Craft titled Thrilling 3d the pages are up in store if you would like a look only 2 places left at this stage.

We have finished the voting on the 40 min challenge pages from our Scrappin Scouts weekend away and the winners are up in the store along with the puzzle pieces which are up to be voted on now so come in and vote.

Well we just finished another Scrappin Scouts weekend away, and i am exhausted didnt do much but feel as if ive run a marathon. I have just received a lovely gift from the girls thankyou very much and you didnt need to im just happy that everyone had a great time. As you can see by the above photo we camped (well some sneake off home) and had a ball once again had enough food to feed double the amount so we will refine it even more next time.


We did 2 challenges whilst we were away and they are up in the shop for everyone to come in and vote on i must say the puzzle piece challenge is my favourite.
Some new stock in shop more papers and some black Felt which i know a few were after.
